6.2. Pharmacokinetics (PK)
Pharmacokinetic studies aim to address:
- ADME: A (absorption), D (distribution), M (metabolism), E (excretion).
- Toxicokinetics (how much of the medicine is in the body and where/when unwanted effects happen).
