mHealth

mHealth or mobile health refers to “the use of mobile wireless technologies for public health”. It can provide proactive services instead of reactive ones to preserve health. Mobile devices and applications (apps) enable users to record health data by themselves. Health care providers can also use mHealth for data collection and service provision. An example of mHealth is using mobile apps to monitor blood pressure by patients [1].
