How to make the most out of your EUPATI online course

How to make the most out of your EUPATI online course

1. Set your learning goals

It does not have to be complicated and stay true to yourself. Are you just looking for new information? Are you committed to finish the course, pass the Assessment, and receive the Certificate? Having clear and realistic goals will help you enjoy your learning.

The following questions may help you clarify your learning objectives:

  • What do I want to get out of this course?
  • How will that improve my work and life?
  • How will I apply this knowledge?

You can learn more about the Open Classroom learning pathways on this page.

2. Manage your own time

Please think about when you may have time to learn. Again, be honest with yourself and remember that we all have different preferences. All of them are valid and there is no right or wrong answer! When you are clear about this, it is important to set time aside for learning. If it helps you – treat it like you would treat your work!

The following questions may help you clarify your learning objectives:

  • Do you have a clear deadline in mind to finish the course?
  • How much time per day or week can you set aside for learning?
  • How can you make sure nothing interferes with your planned learning time?

3. Take care of your learning space

From a quiet and calm room to the hustle and bustle of a public space, at an office table or on a couch - don't judge whether it is a good or bad learning space. If it works for you and you can access it during your ideal learning time, it is the best space for you!

Take a moment to reflect on your learning goals, learning time and space. Give it a try and be flexible if your needs change. You will be surprised at how effective and happy learner you become.

Have a good time taking this course!
